Extra Income (48 Hour Test Results)

It’s now been 48 hours since I started a brand new business. 

I had another acceptance and payment. That makes 8 clients of which 7 have paid upfront as requested. All in the electrician"s niche.

I’ve delivered 2 videos and channels. I’ve had two wonderful testimonials that are now on my new website. A google site of course. The testimonials are done in MugJam as well. 

They were VERY impressed with the speed of delivery. One client said he has never experienced a service like that.

After my post yesterday I decided to send the same email/video to 100 plumbers. As a comparison test. 

To date, I’ve 5 acceptances with 4 payments upfront as requested. Still awaiting pictures and scripts.

So I’ve succeeded in my plan of setting up a business and receiving money within 24 hours. 

Unfortunately, the numbers are nowhere near what I hoped. But I’m bloody useless at email marketing anyway.

So my next plan of action is the following:

Spend a few hours this weekend setting up a templated approach to my video production. 

In light of feedback I’ve received from new clients, I’m making another promotional video that will be included in my next set of emails.

Those emails will be sent to both 100 plumbers and 100 electricians, per day, Monday through to Friday. 

I’ll be thinking up 5 new catchy email titles. I’m bloody useless at this so I’m probably letting a few clients slip through the net because of my pathetic attempts. 

My objective is to land 10 plumbers and 10 electricians every day. That’s 20 new clients a day. Video production time for that will equate to about an hour per day. 

I’ve allocated another hour to get the emails and send them off. Therefore two hours approximately. That work will be performed starting at ten in the evening, through to midnight. 

My eventual plan is to market both my rank and rent sites and YouTube thumbnails to these new clients. 

That work will be done between midnight and three in the morning. 

I’ve then returned back to normal. 

Since MugJam does a huge amount of languages, there is really no limit to this potential. 

In closing. I was told today that this is the first time my new client has ever been approached with this personalized video concept. Guys have tried to sell generic videos as a one-off price but never a $29 per month video with a YouTube channel. ( Remember, if they stop paying all you do is log into that channel and switch the video to private ), they will soon pay up.

I’m sorry I was not able to supply you a business idea that converted better, but at least it’s something to keep the wolf from the door. It’s a huge wolf this time.

Two more things. A lot of people don’t want to use their faces and MugJam has a very limited supply. Below is a site that generates AI faces you can use. 

I’ve also added a shareware current freebie for Luminar 3. It fixes and enhances the photos you will be sent. I’ve yet to receive a decent photo. To enhance the photos before you make a background video out of them. Use the free version of Lightworks for making that video.
