Marketing Ideas for you Marketing Professionals

I’m currently producing a resort promotional video and I’m currently staying and filming at Hayman Island here in the Whitsundays Islands. 

This is an iconic resort known worldwide and as such, even now has some pretty high flyers visiting. 

I’ve made it my business to try and mingle and expand my business associates. Thankfully it’s not hard to introduce myself as people are very interested in promotional video production on site. 

I’ve always said it’s not what you know or even what you do, it’s who knows you and your skills. 

In my discussions over the past week something is unfortunately awfully apparent, being told to me by the likes of investment professionals etc etc. 

There is verifiable evidence that close to 50 percent of small businesses will close, forever, in the US by the end of next year. I won’t even talk about medium businesses, zombie companies etc. 

This terrible outcome is not only limited to the US. 

Suffice to say financial institutions know this and are making provisions, some of the guys I’ve spoken to are involved with that. 

Therefore if any of you are savvy enough, I would suggest starting campaigns now to reach out to businesses in trouble. 

You could offer services to link up to experts that can help, offer courses to help them adjust to the new normal etc etc. 

I’ve been thinking about this and there are many ways people of your marketing knowledge could become involved in very profitable ways. 

I’ve actually run a few scenarios with these business professionals and their response was positive. That was just from pondering on these issues very quickly as I’m involved in other things. 

However I did run my idea of a business professional 10 week lifestyle course via them ( I’ll never miss an opportunity ), and that was a winner. 

Seriously with the upcoming problems next year will be bringing, helping businesses help themselves is a no brainer. Obviously there are going to be huge losses and again with that many people out of work another huge market opens up. 

We have all had an awful year, unfortunately next year does not look any better. 

April is the month where these financial investment type professionals expect issues to arise, due to stimulus money running out, bank holidays on repayments ending etc etc. 

As with evolution, it is not the strongest that survive, it’s the organism that evolves fastest that survives and thrives.
