Q: Drive Photos in RFR can you use it to upload to google photos and keep the metadata intact or is it stripped out (assuming it is uploaded using API)
A: Google strips the metadata when you upload to Drive/Google Photos, but uses it when it reads the file, therefore uploading there is seen as a useful source of backlinks and because they have read the data when you upload it affects ranking.
