Q: How would you guys do driving directions on a GMB that is service area only?
A: You do it the same way you would a business with walk in customers...
Your employees (instead of customers googling direction TO your location) would google directions to the places you service, and because they forgot to close the browser on their phones, google tracks them back to the address of the SAB.
So, you create directions, from areas you service as well as points of interest, just like regular, and get the benefit.
This is the way an algo understands, because humans write algo's.
Google does not discern intent, only behavior.
