Videos Update

Arrived at Hayman Island yesterday. Been collecting some great B Roll footage. 

We will be here for the next 10 days. 

This resort in many areas is the closest I can get to the resort I’m doing this promotional video for. 

I’ve got approval to substitute certain areas in this highly unusual case from the resort owners. 

Last week I completed all the underwater work. This week it’s B Roll and fine-tuning shots for next week when our two models arrive for 3 days.

Also, a lot of drones and underwater transitions to be completed this week.

To maintain conformity between the shots on Hayman Island and Noumea, we are shooting only in sunlight. So our options are limited because of the weather. 

Luckily there is so much diversity in the New Calidonia island group I can get away with this subterfuge. 

I’m keeping you informed because a lot of us do videos with our marketing. I’ve just taken it a lot further. I’m also only using the Apple iPhone 12 pro-Max for filming. I can’t believe the number of people who think this is a stupid idea.

Again I’ve added a video of a commercial shot on these new iPhones. With some of the techniques used. 

I’m hoping you guys can get ideas and become better videographers.
