YouTube Video Ranking Part 2

Published on: 13-May 03:14am

What I’ll be showing you here is which software to use, and in what order.

Our aim is to produce the first 6 videos in your niche.  Below is the process.

The first will be the main title for your main video. I call it the prime video as it’s where everything points to. This title should ideally be taken from the first software I’ll show you, as that’s what is being searched for on YouTube.

The other 5 videos are made up of 2 videos taken off the first software that shows what’s being searched on YouTube. The other 3 videos are a mix of questions and answers videos and a closely related trending video. If that’s not available then it should be a news video.

These 3 video titles will be sourced from different software.

The reason we do this is to both rank on YouTube AND rank on google as the questions and answers, trending or news videos will be taken up by Google as well.

We will use another piece of software to obtain the semantically linked keywords for the script that these videos use, as well as the text overlays and secondary audio channels.

These 5 videos will be placed in a playlist.

I’ve gone over the importance of using playlists before as by doing so we are able to utilize the internal linking structure that YouTube both allows and approves of, this passes much more authority and we are able to direct that authority via end cards, whilst leaving the description area free for our outbound links to landing pages, etc.

There is no keyword research here, we produce exactly what the software says as that’s what has been obtained from both YouTube and google.

This is not a mass page process, we are zeroing in on exactly what we require. Nothing else.

Everything is ROI and economy of effort. Everything. There are no gains to be had by producing videos that no one will watch. If that’s what you want to do, don’t waste your time on this, just go and join the hundreds of thousands of other wannabe YouTube video producers.

So we need a niche. Let’s use Ingrown Toenail.

Fire up TubeXplore. Input your niche and observe the mind map or map as they call it. Click on the keyword and see how many secondary titles come up.

Record them in whatever way you like.

If you want, go as deep as the software allows. This will give an indication of how many videos you can produce using this software and obviously your potential for domination. After all, that’s what we are after, domination.

Now that we have our prime video and hopefully many other video titles, we need some accurate data on the level of competition, what tags to use, etc., etc.

Fire up VidSpyPro. Input your primary title in the software and retrieve your information. Do that for a couple of other titles that were just under the primary title in TubeXplore. Again record this information.

We now have titles and accurate intelligence, we can now devise a plan of action. This will entail how many videos we will eventually need to achieve our goals.

Obviously, this will vary from campaign to campaign. You might only need these first 6 videos, or you might need 60, or 600. The process remains the same.

Now we need to see what might be trending so that we arrive on the ground floor.

This is an important part as there are 3 parts to this. We want to see what’s trending on YouTube, Google, and google images.

Google images are of particular importance as when you produce your videos and thumbnails, the colors and designs that are being used for your niche will be revealed. This making your life much easier.

Again you will have accurate and up-to-date information, no guessing at all.

So to get these trends we use TrendMinerPro. As with all these software, I encourage you to study the training videos as much will be revealed to you. New ideas will be promoted.  As always record everything.

This may seem a lot of work but believe me, you will reap the rewards by doing this.

We now need a few decent questions to produce some video titles on with content, so open up QuestionSpy and get to work. Again record everything.

For the news video I find the easiest is just type into google “ latest news on ........... “, simple.

So we now have all the required information to start organizing the scripts for these videos.

This will be in Part 3 as it now becomes a bit involved. We will be setting up a silo structure hidden within the audio of the videos, within the actual script of the video ( within reason ), and hidden in overlays that we produce for the videos and the thumbnails.

This initial process is very important to get correct.

It does not matter what you are promoting, this process works for everything. Local is especially easy to add as the overlays and audio carry a lot of that information that will be hidden.

Until Part 3.
