I've unfortunately had a bit of a setback. This new venture is certainly character building.
My new resort project needs the on-site filmed by someone there.
The guy doing this for me has sent me the drone footage I need to format my storyboard.
Last night he sent me all the stills I need to get a better understanding of the surroundings, things like reception, bars, beach areas, the whole place basically.
I opened them and only last night while talking to friend found out his camera has a read/write issue to the memory card.
I can’t believe it and he has no spare.
I’ve just got home, I’ve had to buy him an new iPhone 12 pro Max and I’m waiting for the courier to arrive.
Talk about leaving things to the last minute.
Without this footage I can’t plan the storyboard properly.
This will also be the first time I’m filming all land videos on the new iPhone 12 pro Max versions.
They have passed a major milestone in video capture.
At least I’ll be able to get him to video some land scenes properly for me now with settings that match what I’ll be using.
I will never attempt a remote location filming again for a paying client.
I do get the iPhone back, if not, he does not get his final payment.
